📚 Educational Qualification
- Any Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 3 years duration) from a recognized University
- One Year Diploma / Certificate in Sports Coaching from National Institute of Sports (NIS) / SAI OR
- PG Diploma in Sports Coaching from Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University / LNIPE, Gwalior
- Must have represented Tamil Nadu State / University in National or International level competitions

The TN SDAT Recruitment 2026 selection process is conducted in three structured levels to ensure the appointment of highly qualified and experienced coaches. Candidates must qualify in each level to proceed to the next stage.
🔹 Level I – Qualification & Experience Evaluation
Level I focuses on evaluating the candidate’s professional qualification, medals achieved, and coaching experience. Marks are awarded based on certified documents submitted during the application process.

🔹 Level II – Written Examination

📘 Syllabus – Level II
- Tamil Language Test: MCQ-based test with syllabus equivalent to Tamil Nadu State Board 10th standard. Candidates must score a minimum of 40% to qualify.
- Sports General Awareness: Questions related to current sports events, Olympic Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, National Games, sports policies, anti-doping rules, sports science basics, and sportsperson welfare schemes.
🔹 Level III – Discipline Specific Performance Test & Viva Voce
Candidates shortlisted from Level II will be invited for Level III practical assessment. This stage evaluates real-time coaching ability and technical expertise.
