📚 Educational Qualification
Assistant Section Officer (Secretariat – Other than Law and Finance Departments):
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University and must have served for not less than 5 years in the post of Junior Assistant or Assistant in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service or Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service after acquiring the degree.
Assistant Section Officer (Finance Department):
A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, or Statistics is required. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years service as Junior Assistant or Assistant after obtaining the qualification.
Assistant (Secretariat – Other than Law and Finance Departments):
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree and must have served for not less than 3 years in the post of Junior Assistant or Assistant in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service or Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service.
Assistant (Finance Department):
A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, or Statistics with minimum 3 years service experience as Junior Assistant or Assistant after acquiring the qualification.

📍 Selection Process – TNPSC Group VA Recruitment 2025
