RRB JE Recruitment 2025 – 2570 Vacancies Announced
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the draft notice for Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts. A total of 2570 vacancies have been approved for notification in 2025.

including JE, DMS, CMA, Chemical Supervisor & Metallurgical Supervisor posts.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: 3 years Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, etc.) from a recognized university/institute.
- Age Limit: 18 – 36 years (as on 01.01.2025) with relaxations for reserved categories.
- Nationality: Indian citizens and other categories as per government norms.

Exam Pattern
CBT-I: 100 Questions (Maths, Reasoning, GK, Science) – 90 minutes
CBT-II: 150 Questions (General Awareness, Physics & Chemistry, Basics of Computer, Environment, Technical Subjects) – 120 minutes
Note: Negative marking of 1/3rd for each wrong answer.
Salary
- Junior Engineer (JE), DMS, CMA: Level-6, ₹35,400/- + allowances
- Chemical & Metallurgical Supervisor (Research): Level-7, ₹44,900/- + allowances
