Technical Assistant – Automobile Engineering:
First Class Diploma in Automobile Engineering.

Technical Assistant – Mechanical:
First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR Production Engineering.

Technical Assistant – Electronics & Communication:
First Class Diploma in Electronics Engineering OR Electronics & Communication Engineering OR Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering OR Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.

Technician ‘B’ – Turner:
Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Standard AND ITI in Turner Trade with NTC from NCVT OR NAC from NCVT.

Technician ‘B’ – Fitter:
Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Standard AND ITI in Fitter Trade with NTC from NCVT OR NAC from NCVT.

Cook ‘A’:
Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Standard AND 5 years experience as Cook in a well-established Hotel/Canteen. Experience Certificate from the concerned Hotel/Canteen is required.

Fireman ‘A’:
Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Standard AND should satisfy the prescribed Physical Fitness Standards. Preliminary Medical Examination (PME) Certificate issued by a Government Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Civil Surgeon is required.

Important Note:
Candidates must possess the exact qualifications prescribed in the notification. Equivalent courses will not be considered eligible. The required qualification/experience must be acquired on or before 05.10.2026.

💰 Salary Details

In addition to basic pay, eligible employees will receive allowances and benefits as applicable, including Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and Transport Allowance. Other facilities are provided as per applicable Government orders.

🔹 Age Limit

Age relaxation is applicable for eligible SC/ST candidates by 5 years and OBC candidates by 3 years, wherever the post is reserved for the respective category. Other applicable relaxations will be provided as per Government of India rules.

📍 Selection Process: ISRO Recruitment 2026

• Technical Assistant / Technician ‘B’ / Cook ‘A’: Written Test + Skill Test.
• Fireman ‘A’: Written Test + Physical Efficiency Test (PET) + Detailed Medical Examination.
• The final selection for the applicable posts will be based on Written Test marks among candidates who qualify the required skill/physical and medical stages.

For Technical Assistant and Technician ‘B’, the Written Test consists of 80 Multiple Choice Questions for 90 minutes. Each correct answer carries 1 mark and 0.33 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

The Written Test will be conducted offline using OMR method at Tirunelveli and Chennai. Candidates must select their preferred test city while submitting the application, and the choice cannot be changed later.

💳 Application Fee

The application fee must be paid online through the SBI e-Payment Gateway using Internet Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI.

Female, SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and PwBD candidates are eligible for full fee refund, subject to appearing in the Written Test. For other candidates, the applicable refundable amount will be processed after the Written Test, subject to the conditions mentioned in the official notification.

8. Pay the applicable application fee through the online payment gateway.
9. Submit the application before 05.10.2026 at 16:00 Hrs.
10. Download and preserve the generated Application Form for future reference.
11. No printout of the Application Form or documents needs to be sent to IPRC after online submission.
