Job Overview
HPCL, a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, is inviting applications for Graduate Apprentice Trainees (Engineering) in various disciplines.
Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 at locations across India.
The selection process includes academic merit shortlisting and an interview, with a monthly stipend of ₹25,000.

Eligibility Criteria – HPCL Graduate Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 2025
- Educational Qualification: Engineering Graduation in **Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Computer Science/IT**.
- Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate for General/OBC-NC/EWS; 50% aggregate for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- Graduation Year: Only candidates who completed engineering **after 01 April 2022** are eligible.
- Age Limit: 18–25 years (as on 30 May 2025).
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD: Up to 10 years (based on category)
Stipend Details
- Graduate Apprentice Trainees: ₹25,000 per month
- ₹20,500 paid by HPCL & ₹4,500 directly paid by Government of India under **DBT scheme**.

- Shortlisting: Based on academic performance and eligibility criteria.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an **interview in June 2025**.
- Final Selection: Based on **academic merit and interview scores**.
