Note: Candidates can opt for training seats in only one State under this project. Candidates may provide district preferences within the selected State, but allotment will be based on requirement and availability of training seats.
📚 Educational Qualification: Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Graduate Apprentice:
Candidates must possess a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Candidates must have passed their Graduation between 01.01.2023 and 01.09.2026, both dates inclusive.
Local Language: Candidates who have studied the specified local language of the opted State in 10th or 12th standard and produce the relevant mark sheet/certificate will not be required to undergo the local language test. Other candidates will have to qualify in the local language test during Document Verification.
Important Eligibility Conditions:
Candidates should not have previously undergone Apprenticeship Training with Canara Bank or another organization under the Apprentices Act. Candidates with one or more years of job experience after completion of their educational qualification are not eligible.

💰 Salary / Stipend Details

Note: The stipend includes the Government of India subsidy, if applicable. Canara Bank will pay ₹10,500/- per month into the apprentice’s account and the Government share of ₹6,150/- will be credited through DBT as per applicable guidelines.

Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1998 and not later than 01.09.2006.
Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years; PwBD – 10 years. Additional age concessions are applicable to eligible widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried, as specified in the notification.
📍 Selection Process: Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026
- State-wise merit list based on marks/percentage obtained in 12th Standard (HSC/10+2) / Diploma.
- In case of equal percentage, candidates will be ranked according to age in descending order.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 60% for General/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Important: The selection merit list will be prepared based on the information submitted in the online application. Any discrepancy found during Document Verification may result in disqualification.

📝 How to Apply?
- First register on the official NATS apprenticeship portal: https://nats.education.gov.in/
- Complete your NATS profile to 100% and obtain the enrollment number.
- Visit the official Canara Bank website and go to Careers → Recruitment.
- Select Engagement of Graduate Apprentices in Canara Bank under Apprentices Act, 1961 for FY 2026-27.
- Click on the new registration option and fill in the online application form.
- Enter the enrollment ID generated through the NATS portal.
- Upload the required photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
- Pay the applicable application fee online.
- Verify all the details carefully before final submission.
- Submit the application before 17.10.2026.
- Download and retain the final application form, registration number and password for future reference.
Apprenticeship Period: 12 Months. The On-the-Job Training will be provided at selected Canara Bank branches according to the prescribed course/curriculum.
Important: Apprentices will not be treated as regular employees of Canara Bank and the Bank has no obligation to offer regular employment during or after completion of the apprenticeship training.
