📚 Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) / Class 12th and possess an ITI certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant trade from a Government ITI or Government Aided ITI in Tamil Nadu.

Important Notes:

• Minimum 60% aggregate marks in ITI is mandatory.
• Candidates must have completed ITI from Government ITI or Government Aided ITI in Tamil Nadu.
• Private ITI candidates are not eligible.
• 30% horizontal reservation is available for women candidates.
• Selected candidates may be deployed in any department based on work requirements.
• The initial contractual engagement period is 3 years.

DMIL Chennai Metro Technician Recruitment 2026 offers opportunities for 10th pass, 12th pass and ITI qualified candidates in Tamil Nadu. Eligible candidates with Electrician, Fitter, RAC Mechanic, Electronic Mechanic, Computer Hardware, Network Maintenance, Plumber, Welder and Carpenter ITI qualifications from Government or Government Aided ITIs can attend the Chennai Metro Phase 2 Technician Walk-in Screening. Candidates must secure at least 60% marks in ITI and satisfy the prescribed age criteria. The recruitment process includes document verification, screening and Tamil language proficiency assessment. This DMIL Technician recruitment provides a monthly CTC of Rs. 28,165 for contractual engagement in Chennai Metro Rail Limited Phase II operations and maintenance work.

💰 Salary Details

Note: The consolidated CTC includes accommodation, transport, medical, LTA, canteen and insurance benefits. PF contribution and applicable tax deductions will apply.

🔹 Age Limit

Age relaxation for reserved category candidates will be applicable as per Tamil Nadu Government Rules.

Note: Candidates who studied Tamil as a subject in 10th Standard are exempted from the Tamil Language Proficiency Test. Selection will be based on Merit-cum-Reservation.

1. Download and read the official DMIL Technician Recruitment 2026 notification.
2. Download the application format provided in Annexure-I of the notification.
3. Fill in the application form in CAPITAL LETTERS.
4. Attend the walk-in screening at the respective venue according to your preferred screening schedule.
5. Bring original certificates along with one set of photocopies.
6. Carry at least 10 recent colour passport-size photographs.
7. Bring 10th certificate and marksheet, date of birth proof, ITI certificates, semester-wise marksheets and caste certificate (if applicable).
8. Carry a valid ID proof such as Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence or Voter ID.
9. Keep your personal mobile number and email ID active throughout the recruitment process.

Important: Candidates must attend the screening at 8:30 AM on the scheduled date. Private ITI candidates are not eligible.
