📚 Educational Qualification: CPCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026
1. Trade Apprentice (ITI Passed):
Matriculation with a regular full-time 2-year ITI course recognized by NCVT/SCVT in Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Machinist, Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Instrument Mechanic, Draughtsman (Civil), Draughtsman (Mechanical), or Computer Operator and Programming Assistant trades.
2. Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant):
B.Sc. Chemistry with Physics, Mathematics or Biology.
3. Guest House Service Assistant:
10th Pass.
4. Graduate Apprentice – Non-Engineering:
BA / B.Com / B.Sc / BCA / BBA Degree.
5. Graduate Apprentice – Secretarial Office Assistant – Oil & Gas:
Graduate in any discipline (Non-Engineering).
6. Executive (Human Resource) – Oil & Gas:
MBA (HR) / MSW / Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / Personnel Management & Industrial Relation with a 2-year full-time course.
7. Graduate Apprentice – Degree in Engineering:
BE / B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronic & Communication, Instrumentation, Civil, Computer Science, Information Technology, Fire & Safety, or Environment Protection & Safety disciplines.
8. Technician Apprentice – Diploma in Engineering:
Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronic & Communication, or Instrumentation discipline.
9. Data Entry Operator – Fresher Apprentice:
Class 12th passed but below Graduate.
10. Data Entry Operator – Skilled Certificate Holders:
Class 12th passed but below Graduate. Candidates must additionally possess a Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ for training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognized under the National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Government.
Important Eligibility Notes:
- Educational qualifications must be obtained from a recognized institution.
- Candidates must be registered on the applicable NAPS/NATS Apprenticeship Portal with 100% profile completion.
- No equivalent qualification other than those mentioned in the notification will be considered eligible.
- Only candidates who passed their final examinations in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible.
- Candidates must have First Class in the qualifying examination with a minimum of 60% marks. For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, the minimum is 55%.
- Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.
- Candidates who have undergone job elsewhere for one year or more are not eligible.
- Age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years as on 01.10.2026.
- Age relaxation will be provided as per Presidential Directives on Reservation.
- For apprentices under NATS, 50% of the total stipend will be paid through Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT) by the Government.
