Eligibility Criteria – Indian Army TGC-142 Notification
Nationality
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal
- Persons of Indian origin from select countries (with eligibility certificate if required)
Age Limit (as on 01 Jan 2026)
- 20 to 27 years
- Born between 02 Jan 1999 and 01 Jan 2006
Educational Qualification
- Passed or final year student of Engineering Degree.
- Final year students must:
- Produce degree and mark sheets by 01 Jan 2026.
- Have a valid cumulative percentage above the cutoff.

Selection Process – Indian Army TGC-142 Notification
- Shortlisting based on cut-off percentage (stream-wise).
- SSB Interview (Stage 1 & 2).
- Medical Examination.
- Final Merit List (based on SSB marks).
Training Details
- Duration: 12 months at IMA, Dehradun.
- Cost of Training: ₹16,260/week (refundable if withdrawn for personal reasons).
- Marital Status: Must be unmarried and remain unmarried during training.
